A Lumelis Digital tool

Your link. Your style.
Your QR code.

Turn a link or text into a QR code. Choose a look, add your logo and download it, all in your browser.

A recognizable domain without a scheme becomes an HTTPS link. Check the final content before exporting.

QR content and logos are processed in your browser.

Lumelis QR

A QR code ready for the real world

A QR code puts a link or short message in a form a phone camera can read. Lumelis QR creates a static QR code and lets you adjust its appearance before exporting it.

How to create your QR code

  1. 01

    Enter the content

Paste a link (URL): the web address of a page, menu, event or document already published online. You can also enter text, such as a phone number or email address; this does not automatically create a contact card. If you enter a recognizable domain such as example.com, the tool adds HTTPS. Review the final content shown beside the QR code.

  2. 02

    Choose the design

Start with a high-contrast style. Adjust shapes, colors and a frame, or add a small local logo. Keep the QR code dark against a light background.

  3. 03

    Export and test

Download PNG or SVG, then scan the exported file with a phone. Test again at the size and on the material you will actually use.

Links for everyday uses

Link to a website, event page, portfolio or menu that is already online. To share a document, use its existing public URL. Lumelis QR does not host files or check whether a destination is available.

PNG or SVG?

PNG works well in messages, presentations and everyday image editors. Choose 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels to suit your layout. SVG keeps its edges sharp when resized and is useful for print and design software. Both exports include the QR code’s clear margin.

Printing your QR code

Keep the blank border around the QR code. Avoid placing text or decoration over it. Print a sample at the intended size and test it from a realistic distance, in the lighting people will encounter. Glossy surfaces, folds and small prints can make scanning harder.

Contrast and shapes

A dark QR code on a light, solid background is a useful starting point. Lumelis QR limits low contrast, but a numerical contrast check cannot guarantee a camera will read every design. Test each exported style, especially after changing colors or module shapes.

Adding a logo

Choose a simple logo that remains recognizable when small. The tool limits its size and adjusts error correction automatically. A logo still covers part of the QR code, so test the final export with several phones when possible.

What a static QR means

The link or text is stored in the QR code itself. You cannot change that encoded content after printing: create a new QR code if it needs to change. A linked page can change independently, and the QR code remains useful only while its destination is available.

Your content stays in your browser

Generation, styling and export run in your browser. QR content and local logos stay in memory during the session and are not saved as a history. QR content, logo files and generation or export actions are not sent as analytics events.

Useful questions

Do I need an account?

No account or registration is needed to create and export a QR code.

Does the QR code expire?

A static QR code has no expiry timer. A link still needs a working destination, so keep the linked page or file available.

Can I edit the link later or see scan counts?

The content is fixed in the exported QR code. Lumelis QR does not manage redirects or measure scans. To change the encoded link, generate and distribute a new QR code.

Why does copying or sharing download a file?

Clipboard and file sharing depend on your browser and device. If an action is unavailable, the tool offers a download so you can use the image yourself.
